This Payment & Refund Policy explains how payments, credits, subscriptions, fees, taxes, and refunds work on PeekTag. By using PeekTag, you agree to this Policy and our Terms of Use.
1. Payments & Credits
All purchases on PeekTag, including subscriptions, premium features, tokens, and paid services, are processed securely through approved payment providers such as Stripe and Apple In-App Purchase (IAP).
When a payment is successfully completed, your account may be credited with PeekTag Credits ("Credits"), which can be used for eligible services within the platform.
Credits
Credits:
Are linked to your account only
Cannot be transferred or sold
Cannot be exchanged between users
Have no cash value unless required by law
Do not expire unless explicitly stated otherwise
PeekTag does not store your payment card information. Payment processing is handled entirely by our authorized payment providers.
2. Creator Payouts
Creators who monetize content through PeekTag may receive payouts through Stripe Connect Express or other approved payout providers.
Before funds are released, PeekTag may deduct:
Platform fees
Payment processing fees
Applicable taxes
Regulatory or compliance costs
Payouts may be delayed, restricted, or withheld if:
A policy violation is suspected
A dispute or chargeback is active
Required identity verification is incomplete
Tax documentation is missing
3. Fees & Taxes
Platform Fees
PeekTag may charge a platform fee on paid transactions. Any applicable fee will be displayed before payment confirmation.
Payment Processing Fees
Additional fees charged by payment processors may apply depending on the payment method used.
Currency Conversion
If your payment currency differs from your billing currency, currency conversion fees may be applied by your payment provider.
VAT & Sales Tax
Where required by law, PeekTag collects and remits VAT, sales tax, or similar indirect taxes.
Displayed prices will either:
Include applicable taxes, or
Clearly indicate when taxes will be added during checkout.
4. Refund Policy
PeekTag maintains a fair-use refund policy designed to balance the interests of users, creators, and the platform.
Eligible Refunds
Refunds may be approved when:
A duplicate payment was processed
A verified technical error occurred
A purchased service could not be delivered due to a platform malfunction
A subscription renewal is canceled and a refund request is submitted within 7 days of renewal
Non-Eligible Refunds
Refunds are generally not available for:
Change-of-mind purchases
Used or partially used credits
Promotional or bonus credits
Referral rewards
Apple In-App Purchase transactions (handled directly by Apple)
Transactions older than 30 days

If approved, refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.
Processing, transfer, or payment gateway fees may be deducted where permitted by law.
6. Disputes & Chargebacks
PeekTag actively monitors transactions to prevent fraud and unauthorized payments.
If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated:
Related accounts may be temporarily restricted
Funds may be withheld pending investigation
Access to paid services may be suspended
Fraudulent or repeated chargebacks may result in permanent account termination.
7. Policy Updates
PeekTag may update this Policy from time to time to reflect legal, operational, or product changes.
Updated versions will be published on the PeekTag website and become effective upon publication unless otherwise stated.
